Rodvld2024-03-14Excellent Service from the start. Excellent service from the moment we arrived in St George. Owner picked us up from the airport and made us feel very welcome. The dinner was a 5 star experience. Everything was perfect and we would both recommend a stay at Riverlands. The owner gave us a lift into town because it was a hot day for walking.
ttschernez2023-09-26Clean, roomy and very comfortable. We arrived in St George rather tired and were pleasantly surprised by the clean and spacious welcoming room at the Riverland Motor Inn. An added surprise was the healthy blue tongue lizard who greeted us outside the door. Julie, the lovely hostess, was thrilled when I told her about him... she said she hadn't seen him for a while and was glad he was still there. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was so generous when I asked for an extra milk - knowing we had a teenager with us, she gave me a couple and extra biscuits too!!
Janette D2023-07-24Excellent stay Riverland Motor Inn was excellent our room was spacious and very comfortable and quite. They have a beautifully appointed restaurant on site with a A La carte menu. The owners were very helpful and offer sites and place to visit in the St George and surrounding area. Things to do Sandytown River sunset cruise/ Artesian Thermal pool/Thaillon Painted silos/visit the Bakery/ Nindigully Pub
Erin T2023-07-21Great family accommodation Fantastic family room. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Very clean and check in was great. There was some renovation going on however the noise did not bother us. We were only given 10 minutes warning in the morning that the water was going to be turned off for 10 minutes right as we were trying to get ready to leave so had to rush to finish getting ourselves ready before it went off so we could go. Other than that however it was a delightful place to stay
Reginald S2023-07-07Good Country Hospitality In July we were a part of a tour group staying at the Riverland Motor Inn. Apart from the fact that the motel accommodation was first class, in both cleanliness and presentation, as well as being served lovely meals whilst staying. My wife felt a bit ill one day so we said to our tour guides we would have the day off the bus, we then enquired at reception about a taxi in town so we could go to the hospital to see a doctor. The owner Keith then said, let him know when we were ready, and he would take us there. Once there Keith was adamant, we have to ring him and he will pick us up when ready, which he did. I cannot thank the owners Keith and Julie enough for the compassion they showed to us whilst staying at their motel. They showed us real country hospitality is still alive and blooming out west. We will definitely be staying there again if ever we venture out west again. Thanks very much Keith and Julie. Reg and Cheryl
Hayleya2023-04-14Amazing place to stay. I was supper excited to stay here with so many positive reviews from family . It did not disappoint! Unfortunately I checked in too late to have one of their amazing meals that everyone has raved on about. But the room was great one of the best showers of my life with the amazing water heat and pressure In room 24. The owners really made my little girl and I feel welcome a very homely reception.
Reggie J2022-12-06Best Motor Inn I have stayed in 40 years. I have just been to St George Qld for a week working. I was booked into the Riverland Motor Inn and in 40 years of travelling for work this would be the cleanest, friendliest place i have ever stayed. Another bonus is that their restaurant Rivers is fantastic. I worked my way through the menu and every meal was sensational. Coming from Melbourne where we hundreds of great restaurants, this Rivers is as good or better. The chef Luke is a great at his craft and St George is lucky to have him. The owners Julie and Keith were delightful as well. They run a top class Motor Inn and great people as well. Thanks for looking after me !!
OzHolly2022-09-26Comfortable and clean Not a modern establishment but good size room with lots of bench space. Only complaint is that the shower tap was very stiff and hard to adjust. Water pressure was just adequate. Breakfast in the room was good value.
GMH2022-09-17GC A comfortable, clean, spacious room with places to put things. Food at the restaurant was excellent and breakfast in our room was on time and hot! Would highly recommend this motel. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
